We help you recover tax refunds.

A recent report from the Auditor General for the City of Toronto identified taxpayer unclaimed credit balances totalling $72 million being maintained in a “Taxpayer Repayment Account”.  Approximately 55% (or $39 million) is from pre-amalgamation tax accounts.  There are over 60,000 unclaimed credit balances ranging in size from a few dollars, to thousands of dollars.

Since 2007, we have been helping Toronto businesses and individuals obtain their their share of property tax refunds which are rightfully owed to them.   If you have owned property in the City of Toronto, you may be owed a refund.  You can search for tax refunds by entering your Roll Number, available from:

  • Property Assessment Notices from MPAC;  or
  • Property Tax Bills from the City of Toronto.

After it has been verified that a rebate is owed relating to your period of ownership, the final step is to provide documentation to establish who paid the taxes during the period in question.  Only the party who paid the taxes is entitled to receive the tax refund.  If appropriate documentation cannot be located due to the passage of time, we will prepare a Statutory Declaration and Indemnification Agreement in a format acceptable to the City of Toronto.

“No Refund – No Fee” Policy.  If your search locates a tax refund owing for your property, we will file your refund claim with the City of Toronto and manage the entire process on your behalf. There is no risk to you in this process. If successful in recovering the tax refund, we charge a fee equal to 50% of the amount recovered, and are only paid if we successfully recover a refund.
